Disclaimer
For the first post on IBC (Intentionally Bad Criticism) it is necessary to specify that all following posts are complete works of fiction. The authors are fictional, the perspectives are fictional, and the only non-fictional aspects to appear on this blog will be the works of fiction that will be fictionally critiqued. This disclaimer is important to keep in mind since what will follow will be outrageously wrong, contradictory, controversial, and or utterly stupid. The purpose of this blog is completely comedic, but with slight undertones of social analysis (only if it’s funny though). Anything that may seem offensive, obscene, or unsettling should not be taken as such since the fictional critics are components of satire, and any statements made against authors, classes of people, or other groups are intended to highlight the absurdity in the critic’s perspective. For anyone who has read literary criticism, there are often ridiculous positions adopted by critics that make no sense to anyone else but the critic. This Blog takes that obscure critical position, and takes it to extremes.

Satire being underrated, an intellectual red neck could then be identified as the one using the collected works of James Joyce to hold up the right front axle of his 67 Chevy Nova or is intellectual red neck too obviously an oxymoron.
